The area’s newest theatre program combines quality professional theatre with community minded goals.

Here in the Hudson Valley, most of us are lucky enough to live less than two hours away from New York City and all that it has to offer, including Broadway theatre. It’s not uncommon for local residents to take a day off from work to travel down to Manhattan to see a play or a musical.

This summer, however, locals won’t have to spend an entire day traveling to see professional theatre – we’ll have the opportunity right in our own backyards, and at a much lower cost. River Valley Repertory Theatre, the Hudson Valley’s newest professional theatre company, is holding their first season this summer at Marist College’s Nelly Goletti Theatre.
